ARTYSH - JUNIPERUS PSEUDOSABINA essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from Pseudo-Cossack juniper (Latin Juniperus pseudosabina). It is an evergreen coniferous plant native to Central Asia and Siberia. Under natural conditions, it grows in the alpine belt, rocks, rocky places. As a rule, at an altitude of 2000-4100 m above sea level.
Properties of ARTYSH essential oil.
The largest percentage of the content (about 23%), this is α-Pinene, has a high bioavailability: 60% is absorbed by human lung tissues with rapid metabolism or redistribution. α-Pinene has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It is active as an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, improving memory. Like borneol, verbenol and pinocarveol, α-pinene is a positive modulator of GABA receptors.

Also, ARTYSH essential oil contains β-Elemen, it has generated scientific interest due to its prevalence in various medicinal plants. Experiments carried out in vitro show that the β-element has an antiproliferative effect against some types of cancer cells, which indicates the possibility of its use in chemotherapy.
